i have KICKER 40CS654 6-1/2" 2-way Speakers (•power range: 2-100 watts RMS (300 watts peak power)

in my front doors, and will be putting in Kicker 40CSS694

6"x9" component speaker system (•power range: 2-150 watts RMS (450 watts peak power)

in the rear deck..... i have (2) 12'' Type R's wired at 2 ohms running off a Hifonics BRX2000.1d.... i need a amp that will make my rear deck and door speaker sound great.

isolate the rear deck speakers somehow or else the bass from the subs will distort them. or dont use them at all and just run a really good front stage. but for the amp whats your budget?

right now im not using any rear deck speakers basically using the rear deck as ports....b/c like you said the subs distorts them

also do you think it would be better just to enhance my front stage?
most people on here just use a good front stage but then again most people on here dropped like 3gs on their system. but a nice component set upfront amped might just work for you.

Ok thanks, maybe i will just focus on my front and get that set up real good... You think i need better front door speakers or will the Kickers do? Im just getting into car audio so i go by advice

well everyone has their own opinion but a component set is your best bet. i personally like my jbl p660c set that i have upfront, for $99 i think theyre fine, of course better can be had. all depends on your budget.

Here is my thought, theory. Those speakers are 80w rms. Half of that is 40w rms. Add the 40 to the 80 and you get 120w. Get an amp that is 120w...

well, thats kind of an open ended question....., you can do 2500rms@1ohm, or you can do a pair of 1k-1200rms@2ohms. just have to know the amp...
