it says 1800@1 ohm, but if you can go lower, it can go lower. Email nick about pricing, his contact info is on the site.

There might be 1 or 2 left F/S on here.

ia are 699.00 for the 20.1s and the new 40.1 will be 1399.00.

They only make thier power and are worth the money if/when you drop them low and they really shine.

Know anywhere to get a killer deal on a Zx2500.1???

Cheapest I can find a New Kx2500.1 for is 800.00-850.00 and there arent many new left.

Also the thing everyone says they are droppin to 1ohm or .5 ohms or such and getting a amp for this, and are forgetting about rise.

Are you talking about 1ohm at the sub?Cause it will be way higher after rise and a 20.1 aint gonna cut it then now way no how.

This may be a stupid question , O'well. If you have 4 ohm DVC. How can you run them at 1 ohm ? I have the same subs 06' 2-12 L7 DVC 4ohm, I thought they could only be wired to run at 2 ohm. If I'm wrong please tell me. I thought they had to be DVC 2 ohm to drop to 1 ohm.

70amps?12volts?

840watts?

14volts?

980watts?

16volts?

1120watts?

sure, maybe it can be run with 70amps worth of fuses, if you only want about 800watts from it, off 12volts... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif
From bcae1.com:

Fuse Opening Time:

A fuse does not blow when the current reaches its rated current. It is designed to pass its rated current without opening. A fuse will take varying times to blow under different conditions. A fuse will pass significantly more than its rated current for a very short time. It may take 10 minutes or more to blow a fuse at 25% over its rated current. The table below is an example of the specifications for a slow blow fuse. You can see that a 20 amp fuse may pass 40 amps of current for as long as 5 minutes before blowing although it probably wouldn't take a full 5 minutes to blow. The times for other fuses will be slightly different.

%of amp rating Opening time

110% 4 hours minimum

135% 1 hour maximum

200% 5 minutes maximum

You also need to remember that the fuse is not seeing a straight DC current when playing music. . . .the on and off of pulses of high DC current further extends the max current through the fuse and the length of time it takes it to blow.

I had a class AB amp, that had been measured to give 2 X 84watts by the manufacturer at 4 ohms per channel, and something like 115watts per channel into 2 ohms.

I ran it at 1 ohm per channel, and blew the 30amp fuse it had... I originally thought the amp was cooked.

this was only like a few minutes of music btw.

30amps, lets say, 13.4volts, fuse will apparently handle twice its rated power for 5 mins max, so, that would suggest I was pulling 800watts from the battery? which, well, for a class AB amp, would still suggest 400watts output power... :p

i'm sure experienced MECA competitors know which brand of fuses to buy too:naughty:
the 20.1 is a pretty efficient class D, imo.
yea we do lol well mark and les and told me which to buy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
