Need help choosing a budget headunit for girlfriends car

Hi guy's it's been a long time since I've been on here, anyways my girlfriend wants to replace her stock head unit in her 2007 toyota corolla, it has space for a double din but single would work just fine, she doesn't care if it doesn't have any fancy options and a lot has changed since I've bought any car audio stuff. Any help on a budget head unit that can connect an ipod via usb, since her ipod touch doesn't hold a charge for very long, would be appreciated.

ps. I be getting her subs and fronts for a birthday present in the future so if it could have pre-outs for front and sub would be a bonus.

Crutchfield.com has a good selection. The JVC KD-R520 is one I would recommend and it takes care of the iPod through USB requirement. You may want to check to make sure her model of iPod is capable of being charged through the head unit.

Thanks for that suggestion but I've never dealt with JVC at least for car audio so I'm not sure about that... I've had good luck with kenwood and alpine before do you guys have any more info with those name brands? I'd love to get her an eclipse but they're way over her price range.. She said she's willing to spend 200 at the most. Thanks!

Pioneer makes some good stuff, you could look into them.
