Need help choosing 8" midrange

well on my upcoming system i will running HLCD's and id like to pair them with an 8" mid.

Budget isnt a big thing since i will be buying it piece by piece.

Id like to kinda some koda 8's or maybe some idq8's but as most of you know those are very rare. And the people who have them refuse to give them up.

The horn i plan on running are cd1pro mini's. Unless someone can sell me on a different horn.

So come on fellas, lets here your ideas.

EDIT: forgot to add

power wont be a problem since i wont buy the amp till i have the mids.

im too poor to use any of those personally lol. JR from Usamps really digs eton, but Seas and scanspeak are DIYMA favorites, Seas moreso.

Id like to get a bunch of ideas, then start reading up on them.

On a more serious note, a lot of the ID guys are talking about how well the new XS series 6.5" and 6x9's mate with horns. Supposed to have pretty good midbass, with the 6x9 outdisplacing a lot of 8" mids.

Something to consider.

That or doing a 3-way with a 6.5" midbass and HAT Legita 8.
