Need help choosing 6x9

hey guys im looking for a good set of 2 or 2 way 6x9 speakers and i was looking at the following speakers:

JBL Power P953 3-Way Speaker

Rockford Fosgate Power T1693C 3-Way Speaker

Pioneer REV TS-D691R 2-Way Speaker

any ideas on which ones might be best?

and if anyone ele can reccomend a good set other than whats listed please let me know

Im biased, but JBL for me.

If a 6"x9" oval is what you've got your mind set on then out of the choices you've listed I'd go with the JBLs.

As for non-listed recommendations I have an old set of Pioneer Premier TS-E6990 3-ways (the top Premier offering that year) I absolutely loved when I was using them. I'm not certain what the current model-year equivalent to those might be (haven't been in the market for an oval speaker in a long time) but if they sound even as good much less better than the outdated ones I have in storage I'd imagine you'd be well pleased with them.

im already going to have plenty of bass with the RE sub so im guessing ful range 6.5 would be better than 6x9 up front and if so, im not sure if a 7" will work in a 2002 jeep grand cherokee ltd

and im assuming the sound quality will be better from the 6.5?

i was looking at gettting the JBL Power p562

not to dispute what was said, but some 6x9s can sound good as 6.5s

The first place that comes to mind is Crutchfield (link is to the specific page for the type of adapter you're looking for)

Places like Circuit City, Best Buy, etc might carry them too, though I'm not for certain.

i've heard audiopipe 6x9 mainly...so thats all i can think of....they sound great to me

thanks prowler so is that just for like 6.5 speakers or say i have two spots for 6x9 so i get two adapter plates and i could put a 6.5 componet set in? would that work?
