maybe switch speakers, ohm the speaker out, it may have blown a coil. who knows...

hmmmm I may try that although it never sounded like that before the radio swap.

You should still consider properly wiring that 12v+ constAnt wire though I wouldn't keep it the way you have it

most likely the factory amp tap into the harness before the amplifier your sending an amplified signal to an amplifier

those monsoon systems are a pain in the ***... good reason shops dont wanna touch them and charge lots of money. I have never integrated intoa monsoon system only taken them completely out. I'm sure the answer is a click away somewhere... like search....

What I dont see is why and the fu(k dont you bypass the stock crap and just wire into the new crap. Its cool to have the stock stuff work but why all the headache????????????????????

im having a similar problem with an 04 ss. i want to hook up an amp to my 6.5 but i cant find the factory amp turn on please help

Was the first harness/module a pac? Some of the pac units you have to turn the ignition key on for 15 seconds and then turn off, then start the car and it will activate the module. And if you do not do it in this order it will not turn on and work!

the harness was just the 16 pin. it didnt even have an amp turn on.

Yeah, that would make sense, too high of a level input. But then why would all of the other speakers in the car work as intended? Only the front right gives me issues lol.
