Need help buying subs

Ok I've blown 3 sets of subs so far 2 sets of 12's andnone set of 15's I'm thinking about spending around 1000$ I already have a head unit and an amp but I'm replacing my amp and I also don't need a box so all I need are subs, amp, wires, I'm installing them. I listen to rap and I love bass so I'm looking for hard hitting loud bass, I want people to hear from good distance away

Google and read up on clipping. And before worrying what other people think of your system do what's going to make you happy. You gotta ride in the car all the time. They don't. I'd say sa series(12s or 15s) and a good 2k amp. I'd figure out why your blowing subs before anything though.

yeah make sure amp ground is good but what have u set the gain at? do u have bass boost up? what amp u using? set gain right, don't turn hu volume past 80% of max that may solve problem but it's possible u need bigger/better amp to prevent u from wanting to turn gain and boost up..

So does a Boss amp but in reality your lucky to get a few 100 watts from it. State the name of the amp please.....don't beat around the bush. We know the good brands vs. ****** ones.
