these are the parts i am trying to re use as well

ALPINE SPR-69 6X9" 2-WAY COAXIAL SPEAKERS

Alpine SPR-10TW tweeters

1x Alpine SWR-12D4 Type-R 12" Subwoofer

Alpine MRX-F65 4-channel Car Amplifier

Alpine MRX-M55 - Alpine Monoblock

ok john i looked up both amps,and they are decent , especially the 4 channel ,but i dont think the sub amp will be powerful enough to over come the 4 channel ,but you can turn the gains down to compensate .so you need a amp kit for both amps and components for the frt doors ,and a custom box

No matter what stereo system you decide on, it is not going to have any impact on your mpg whatsoever. You would have to add MUCH MUCH more weight than what you are thinking to make that a factor. I'm talking **** tons of weight.
