need help asap!!!

hey everyone i am having this terrible squeling from my 4 channel amp the squeal comes from the speakers ive checked grounds thay are all good the rcas didnt make the noise befor it just all the sudden got much worse when i just put in a kvt 512 please i have a show tommrow and i have no money please help!

what is a kvt 512.

pics of your ground?

does the noise go up and down with your engine's rpm's?

yes it goes up and down i dont have pics but its sanded and bolted and its a kenwood head unit

Sounds like the center pin on the line outs got shorted to ground. You might be able to ground the shield to chassis or install an isolation transformer in the line outs.

ground rca shield (google it) should hide the problem (wont get rid of it)

did you solder your HU wiring harness or did you just use electrical tape?

i figured it out i had to connect a wire from the rca sheild to a spot on the head unit not the ground
