Need Help ASAP!!!!

I went out to my truck today to listen to some music and i noticed it was not as loud as usual so i look in the back and only 2 out of my 4 15's were working. So i checked the wiring and check my amp to make sure it was not overheated and everything was fine the amp was not even warm. I start my truck back up and turn on the music and i notice all 4 are working so i turn the volume up and those same 2 subs quit working again. What is the problem? They only quit working when i turn it up all the way.

Wat Amp/Amps are you using?

Are all four subs running of one amp? If not check out the amp that is failing. I would put my money on an amp blowing before a sub.

2 Viper 1200's. But the amp is working until i turn it up all the way.

no the power light is on the whole time.

try the non working subs on your other amp to eliminate that issue.

Anyone have any ideas i do not think anything is blown but i could be wrong. Someone help please.

what deck are you useing?? see my deck shuts off if i turn it up to loud. and i thought there was something wrong with my system the other day, i thought it didn't sound as loud, but i found out my boyfriend retuned my stereo and its tuned mainly to one cd. it sucks..lol.. maybe its not your amp or subs but your hu..??

Check the wires to the amp make sure they arent loose, power, ground or remote might be loose on the amp pushing the 2 subs that go in and out.

maybe the volts on your remote is droping low

Thanks i will check. BTW I am using an Eclipse HU i think the model is 5435
