need help amping my front components

Need help guys, first front stage amp install didnt go so well. I previously had my front components powered by my head unit. trying to hook up a 35x2 2 channel amp to power the components but not getting any sound. amp is getting powered and grounded. rca ran to the head unit. and i have the speaker cable from the crossovers wired directly to the amp (right crossover to the right channel, left, etc). do you have any suggestions?

did you check the remote lead?

yeah, i have it daisy chained off my sub amp. amp turns on and off with the ignition.

do you have a multimeter? if so, play something while measuring AC voltage on the amp's speaker terminals to see if there's any fluctuation.
