need enclosure specs for 12w7

hey everybody,i have a question? i have a jl12w7 and a alphasonik pma100hca amp..01 jeep grand cherokee with enclosure space available 39 wide 15.5 height and depth would like to be 15.5 or less..listen to mostly hip hop and r&b..love deep bass but also hard tight bass.been searching for an enclosure design to maximize the 12w7.i built the recomended off of jl audios sight but dont really like the output..ive been told its way to small..ive seen some but never any dimensions.i have a hard time figuring out ports,thats my problem here..anybody have any tried and trued enclosures that really pound..thanks in advance

Thats crazy most boxes ive built from JL specs seem to be on the large side, but I havent dealt with a 12w7, What about the HO box from JL? Would that fit?

lawl, thats what i get before poasting before reading the whole thing.

back on topic. was that box sealed or ported. a single 12 sealed in that sized car is not going to be that loud. i used to own a explorer some time ago, and tried with a single 12. didn't get loud at all. you might try to go ported with it. i had a 12w6 ported and it didn't do to bad.

it is just like this one except it is un finished

the guy sent me a deposit...I built it and he e mailed me back

saying he smashed his car up and he didn't need it anymore

I'll let it go for $75 plus shipping

the ends can be trimmed off to make it much smaller
