Need another starting battery...

Think my optima red top finally has died. Looking for a new starting battery.

Think i've narrowed it down to the Kinetik HC1200, HC800, optima yellow top, or an off brand battery from an auto parts store.

I have a lt1 and a 470 watt RMS amp.. Is it worth it to buy a ~200$ battery? My system really isn't powerful by any means.

I've heard from several people that Optimas just don't last. They are supposed to last twice as long but are almost 3 times the price. I've never seen a 14 year old Optima in use. Find the biggest sealed lead acid that can fit under your hood and save the cash.

I have a dead red top (75/25) that has a 1/2011 sticker.. Now I have completely killed it a couple times tho lol. I have heard that the red tops have became garbage in the past 5 years, but yellow tops (deep cycle) are fairly decent.

Think im going to get an AGM local
