Yeah, i live on CT so everything is way over priced. there are 3 home depots in my area and they all sell one sheet of mdf for $45, and it runs $35 for the first cut and $15 for every cut after that.

That's crazy, it's like $25 a sheet here and up to 3 cuts for $1.

there is a lows home improvement store near my house but they don't carry lumber, their prices are lower and they have a much bigger selection, i have a company business card for home depot, lows, work-n-gear, taylor rentals, grainger, Mc Master-Carr, and Goodway.

lulz at 15 dollars a cut. thats so funny, by the time your done its gonna be cheaper to buy the tools.

yeah, i could get a hold of the tools to use but have no time with my current work schedule, around 80-90 hours a week this time of year.

1 out of a few local shops said they charge $80 to start for building an enclosure, gave him the specs and i am waiting for him to respond.

You can build a small box in a two to three hour period if you get your cuts done at Home Depot, all you need is a drill, screws, and wood glue. I'm gonna have to call BS on $15 for every cut on the panel saw. I pay $30 for a sheet of wood here and get as many cuts as I need for free, NEVER had any issue with the amount of cuts I got either.

Anyway, there are tons of members in CT who are competitors, I am sure one near you could build you a box.

i s*** you not, home depot does charge that much. i thought the guy was f****** with me when he told me the price.

For a ported 12" box? That's pretty decent...hopefully they know what they're doing, as most shops do not.

trex audio is gonna charge $150 for the enclosure and to possibly do a little tuning of the amp if its needed with a free install(not needed, gonna install it myself).

oh well, i guess u wouldn't want my enclosure. it's 2 cubes at 30Hz. not sure if the height, but i absolutely know it's less than 14 inches high. i'm sure $50 plus shipping from 20020 may be to expensive for your tastes.........

Hell I just built a 2 cubes@32 box- solid as hell and carpeted- 32 sq in of port.
