i need a 2 or 4 channel amp, doesn't really matter which.

preferably something older, as it will probably fit in my $50 shipped price range. im going back home for christmas, and will need some music in my car after everything got jacked earlier in the year.

Have a look at Profile's refurbs (found here) and see if the 200SX fits your needs at all?

If a rated 60w X 2 @ 4 Ohms will do what you need it to do (probably like 45 or 50w/channel actual output) you could get it for $50/shipped as well as warrantied for a year.

what are you trying to power?

i have a old school clarion amp.. thats 75x2 @ 2 ohms, 200x1@ 4 ohms.. nice amp, has its own internal fan, lots of settings to tune it and what not.. id sell that for 50 shipped

I've owned more than a few various models of Profile's California-series amps throughout my 'career' as an aftermarket car audio enthusiast. I've never bought one of their refurbs....each one that I had came from Crutchfield, but they're tough to beat for budget amps.

And, in my opinion, if that 200SX will do what he needs done, then $50/shipped with a valid factory-backed warranty is likely going to be the best possible deal available.

I would reccoment a refurb profile amp also.I have been running a refurb off of their website for about 2 years now with absolutely no problems.

The questioner asked about shipping to two separate postal codes...one was in Canada...you're right, but the first one that starts with a Zero is in Vermont.

How much power per channel are you actually looking for?

That Kicker amp isn't a bad deal, per se, it just isn't very strong as far as output goes.
