Need an amp to Power 2 x 15" FI Q's

Hey again ,

Ive decieded to get 2 15" FI Q's. Now i need to find an amp to power them. It needs 2000 W @ 1 Ohm right? What do you guys suggest. I have only found one potential amp so far. Soundstream Picasso PCA2000D. Any good amps you can recommend to power these?

It depends on the voice coil of the subs u bought.

He doesn't know. He want's coils to end up with 1ohm.

If he got 2 Dual 1ohm Coils he could wire to 1ohm. Therefore power @ 1ohm should be suffcient.

Planet Audio vx2250 should work.

If you buy Dual 1 ohm speakers you can end up with 0.25 ohms or 1 ohm.

If you buy Dual 2 ohm speakers you can end up with 0.5 ohms or 2 ohms.

With that in mind... that opens up the possibility for something that does your required power at 0.5 ohms or 2 ohms.

Sundown 1500d would work very nice @ 0.5ohms with Dual 2 ohm Subs.

You gotta learn somewhere.

Numerous people recommended him the subs, which is why he chosing them.

Yes, the voice coil impendence measurements are Dual 1, Dual 2 etc..

No it sucks, well for you application. You want a true 2000wrms amp @ 1ohm.

That will not do 2000w, especially with your electrical, more like 1500w.
