Im not too familiar with CV subs and if they handle more than rated but if the final ohm load is 4 ohms, there are tons of 2 channel amps that will bridge to 1 channel @ 4 ohms and easily do 400 watts.

what do u guys think about the Kenwood KAC-7252?

Details:

» two-channel car amplifier

» 170 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms (250 watts x 2 at 2 ohms)

» 500 watts RMS x 1 bridged output at 4 ohms (4-ohm stable in bridged mode)

» high-pass (12 dB per octave) and low-pass (24 dB per octave) filters variable from 50 to 200 Hz

» bass boost (0-18 dB) variable from 40 to 100 Hz with wired remote

» Tri-way capable (Tri-Way Crossover required)

» MOSFET power supply

» CEA-2006 compliant

» cooling fan

» preamp- and speaker-level inputs

» preamp outputs

» fuse rating: 40A x 1

» 8-gauge power and ground leads recommended — wiring and hardware not included with amplifier

» 15"W x 2-1/2"H x 11-5/16"D

» warranty: 1 year

yea that will work. Actually I just remembered something. If you plan on upgrading your system later on it will be more expensive because you will need to upgrade ur amp also.

so I would probably go with one of these

http://ikesound.com/product-product_id/2424

http://ikesound.com/product-product_id/2668

They will power that sub easily @ 4 ohms and when u decide to upgrade you have the 2 and 1 ohm option that will give you a shit load more power for the subs. Plus I bet they arent any more expensive than that KAC-7252 amp

my budget is quite low, so i was wondering if u guys can refer me to a decent amp that can do the same as those right there. My budget is around the 100s.

Wat do u guys think about that Kenwood Kac-7252 and the CV 15"?

the directed amp is only 155. Like I said before, if you plan on upgrading your system later on, like adding another sub, that 2 channel amp isnt gonna do jack ish. Might as well spend another 50 bucks to get a higher quality class D amp that will push watts at 4-1 ohms
