Viper connections

okay I got my Viper1200.1 in today, looks like a solid amp and its appearance is sweet, but the connections are f*cking retarded. How am I supposed to fit an 4 guage wire on the terminals? Theyre so small I doubt id be able to get an 8 guage wire in there. And I shaved some of my 4 gauge, but the little plastic attachment is so long that I cant get it all the way in without bending the wires inside of it.

How do those of you with vipers do it?

yea they ****.

take the little tab out and youll be fine. i fit 4 guage in there no prob.

If you took the tab out wouldn't there be nothing holding it in?

I just unscrewed the terminals all the way out put the brass terminal around the wire then slid it into the plastic connector. I fit 4 guage fine and it stays in well.

Indeed, and the screw is what will hold it in.

I had to trim off about 70% of my 4 guage wire to fit it in. Otherwise, I could fit it, but it would get all bunched up inside that long connector before it hit the metal part. I dont understand how you guys fit it in so easily!
