Jl 500. /1 is what you want if you stay with jl. But there are more options available , just depends on your goals and budget

What car/truck ? Also your goals for the new system ? Do you plan on any electrical upgrades. ? Not sure about how efficient the new jl amps are. I do know the slash amps are really power hungry

I have a BNIB Polk MoMo 500.1 with bass knob that should work fine if 2 ohm stable,and if youd like used,few others at this ohm load

the vfl 4480 would be a great fit ,wire it down to 2 ohms and adjust the gains for 600 watts rms ,would be right on par and leave room for

upgrades later if needed .
