Need an amp for 12" HC

Alright it's been a while. I bought two of these a while ago and gave the other to my friend. He finally got a new car. g35 coupe and wants to throw it in. I built him a sealed box built to re specs. All he needs is an amp. I personally wasn't happy with the directed 1000d that i had running mine. He's looking to spend around 500 but wants a good amp that will power this speaker properly. you want a 1200 or so amp, get an orion 1200d, planet audio 1200/1250/1400, kicker 1250.1, smething similiar, 9.1

there's a guy on forum selling a massive audio 1500.1 amp, that would work real well, he wants like 200 or so... really worth looking into. Or i personally like planet audio... you can get refurbs of 1250 watt planets for around $200 as well

if he wants to step up a little , sundown audio 1500.1's are on sale now at around 450
