Just look at the specifications for the amplifier. It will tell you how much power it produces and at what impedance.
Most of everything you find will be stable down to 2ohm.. but just look at the given amps specs.

MOST of everything WON'T be stable at 2 Ohms when wired in that manner.

Yes there are exceptions, certainly, but on average no.

Clean power? If the amp is not clean when run at less than clipping, it's broken... all an amp does is boost your source signal.

I would use the amp you have and lower the gains.

I have an old school PPI art series Blk that would be what your looking for in your price range...very good condition...I believe it is the PPI 2150 but I'd have to double check...
