how about a US Amps MD2? you can check it out at their site, very efficient amplifiers. or you can also look into a Diamond D6 1500.1 fully regulated so it does full power at approx 11-14.5 volts and its a bit underrated.

i have an amp that pust out 2k at 1 ohm for less than what ur lookin to spend and its only a couple weeks old
