They are not taking anymore amps for repair. They are just to backed up at this time. WHATEVER you do don't go to AudioRx (Sam). He's a **** thief, and doesn't return calls, text, emails, etc. He's had mine (and a few others from various forms) amps for months without any info. And to think this is who DB-r referred me too. Anyway good luck with finding somewhere.

I have a Precision Power PCX2125 ('02) that needs repair, and I can't find any place to send mine either. I sent a online quote request to db-r about two weeks ago, never got a reply. In April I also sent repair quote requests to amprepaircenter.com and justrepairs.com, no replies. You guys should give those two a try though, maybe they just didn't want to work on my amp in particular.

Amp repair center in ohio is another place but its a rool of the dice. You never know when youre going to get your **** back.

If i were you I would wait until db-r is caught up. I just spent 10 minutes on the phone with him and he was explaining what sets his work apart from everyone else's he is def worth the coin and wait. I had the chance to compare his work with others the soldering technique is bar none. If its your daily amp buy a used backup and put this one aside

DB-r also repairs certain name brands. You'll want to make sure if he'll even work on your before waiting.

DO NOT use amp repair center(ARC), I sent them a Brutus 1606D & $150 and came back making this weird high-pitched noise whenever it's turned on. It went up in smoke after 3 days and the guy wanted more money to repair it since I was outside of his 3 month warranty. I know the amp was not repaired correctly the first time but decided to not dispute it since I got new amps anyway.

If your amp costs less than $300 new/used then I wouldn't bother trying to fix it, because a reputable repair shop who is willing to repair all kinds of amps are hard to find these days.
