Hoping those of you who breath this stuff in and out everday can give me a hand with upgrading the stereo in my double cab tacoma.
I purchased some boston acoustic sx60 components for my front doors already that are rated 65W Rms @ 4ohm... I dont plan on doing anything with the rear doors and I want to put in 2 10" Boston Acoustic G1 Subs that have a 200W RMS rating each (subs are either dual 4ohm or single 4ohm which I know gives me the option of wiring a 1 or 2ohm load on an amp).
Would a 4 channel amp work for that? Front channels for the front and bridging the rears to power the subs? Optimal power for the subs I would think would be at least 300W and no more then 400W RMS am I right?
I had a deal on a MB Quart PAB 5400 which I think would have been just about perfect but I couldnt find a place to put it anywhere so I had to pass on that deal since it was just too big in size.
In the end, I guess im just asking for specific amp recommendations on some that you guys feel would solve my needs.
Thanks.
