Need amp recommendations

I got an Orion HCCA 12. Dual 4 ohm so I can only run it at 2 ohms. I'm looking for a decent amp for around $250. Would like to run between 1500 and 2000 watts at 2 ohms. Yes I am running on a stock 125a alternator. I do have a 110ah to run with it though. I'm not gonna beat the piss out of it if I'm not reliably able to.

Taramps MD 3000 2 ohm is about your only option in that price range and power at 2 ohms.

I just seen the md1800 2 ohm do almost 2500 certified at 2 ohms. Are taramps really that good? I know a few years ago I never really heard anything good about them (nothing bad either)

I've had 10 of them and love them. Never had a single problem with them.  I would spend the $30 more and get the MD 3000 over the MD 1800.

efficient, cool, and tiny little monsters, definitely your best bet. get the md 3000.1
