need amp help

I am adding two polk momos in enclosures 6x9 in the back of my 1988 mustang gt hatchback facing foward. For a really good price, i want a 2 channel amp to power them. hows the cerwin vega xl 150.2? compare that to the mb quart pab 2100? im looking for around that 100rms per channel range to fully satisfy my momos, and im looking SOULY FOR SQ i need quality over anything.. let me know guys!

Those are probably 6x8's unless your building a separate enclosure...?

Since it's rear, maybe 30-45 wpc...? My advice is go to Ebay & find a good used older PPI. That quart would be fine too, as would one of the smaller Eclipse class a/b.

how would the zeus hifonics 100 watt rms x2 do? is hifonics a good brand?

WPC = watts per channel

PPI = Precision Power (industries?) amps

First off, it's rear fill, meaning you ain't gonna hear much of it. Most ppl use a lot less power in rear vs front unless going for the surround sound thing. 100 wpc is a lot of power back there.

Hifonics was once very good but I don't think their current stuff is the same quality. I'm sure it's fine for rear channel tho. I'd pick the Quart over Hifonics.

Why 6x9 enclosures rather than using 6x8's in the stock spots?

so what the hell should i do then i want front speakers but im killing my 3.5's i cant even use them without them completely distorting.. I think i may be able to fit 4's in my dash it says 3.5 but i think 4 after seeing some

No door speakers? Mustangs usually take 6.5's in the door, that 3.5 is maybe the dash location just over the vents? Forget that, go to the door.
