Need amp for 2 10w7's

I need an amp to power my 2 10w7's... need about 500w going into each sub but have no clue how amps actually work. I was going to get two jl 500/1's but would much rather have one amp powering both subs. is this possible from an amp that puts out 1000/1? or would i need something that puts out 1000/2?

jl 1000/ 1, xenon 1200.1, jbl bpx 1100.1 either of those would work nicely
