Need Amp advice

I have a jl 8w7 and im going to use a jl 500.1 mono amp with it. I have an old sony xplod 1000 watt max amp lying around but dont want to buy a new one. I have 2 polk audio door speakers and 2 jl rear deck ones they are 6 and 1/2. Will that amp work with the speakers or will it be to powerful or not enough. I do not want to blow them but i want my system hitting pretty hard. I do not know the rms i believe it may be 330 though for the amp. The door speakers are 70 rms i think and the rear deck 80 rms.

set the gains with a dmm ,to get the power you need for the speakers

that amp only puts out like 500-600 so just watch the gain and you should be good
