Need Advice

Hello,I purchased a car for my Grandson.with the car came boxes of stereo equipment all in boxes.

KDC-MP208 CD-Reciever

Orion 4004 amplifier

Clarion APX 201.2 amplifier

Phoneix Gold RSD 6.5 speakers

Earthquake F6x9R 6x9 speakers

2x RE 8" subwoofers in a box

I know my best bet to take it and have it installed but would like to make it a project for my Grandson and myself.I have read tutorials on how to install the CD-Reciever and the amplifiers .The advice I need is what spears do I hook up to what amplifiers.I would be thankful for any help.

sorry which speakers not which spears.Even i'm not that old as to be hooking up spears to a car.

Orion is a 4 channel amplifier

Clarion is a 2 channel amplifier

if that helps atall.

the Pheonix Golds and Earthquakes connect to the orion 4004, and 2 8'' re subs to the Clarion, just make sure there wired correctly, depending on the ohms of the speakers.

woofers to the two channel and 61/2 and 6-9's to te four channel

hook all the inside speakers to the 4 channel.........(or just the fronts like some will suggest and not hook up the rears)

Use the 2 channel on those RE's. Those are the 150 watt RMS ones IIRC

Get a 1/0 gauge amp kit (I'd say kicker kit or one from knukonceptz.com) Also 3 sets of RCAs.

Not familiar with that HU, so I don't know how many preouts it has.

I'd say it could take you like a few hours to hook it up. 6 at the most.

hank you all very much.One final question..the 2 subwoofers are in a box...do I wire them like the other speakers...as in just positive to positive negative then to the amplifier?..as in im connecting 4 wires to the 2 channel amp.....sorry last car stereo I worked on we tried hooking old TV speakers to an 8-track player.

You wire them in series depending on the Ohm's of the subs which you can find out with a DMM. After that just go to the link below enter all tjhe correct information corresponding with your setup and it will show you exactly how to wire it
