Im really confused with what to do with my setup... first off, I recently bought a 15in XXX locally for 300 dollars picked up, than I was so **** into myself that I went and bought a 15in sealed box from a local shop for 100 dollars because I can't live without bass and I knew it would take a while to get a good box that would make the XXX thump. Ok 2nd, im using a jbl 1200.1 to power the XXX right now and honestly, it's the loudest and nicest sub i've owned. To be honest the best setup's i've owned are 2 12in SE's in the rec. sealed box from RE, and a 15in L7 in some sealed prefab box. So now my dilemma, I don't know what to do now... i've spent over 400 dollars on this XXX and the prefab box and I don't feel happy with it. Im also hurting for cash and I don't think this has been 400 dollars well spent... Should I sell the XXX? and buy something that can take the jbl's 1200wrms and use it to its potential? I have no idea what to do from here. Lemme list my setup actually...
HU: CDA-7995
Front Stage: ARC Audio KAR265 6.5 Components
Rear: Memphis Audio MClass 5.25 Components in 6x8 adaptor plate for rear deck
Speaker AMP: Old School 4ch Alpine... not sure of series... maybe F-250?
Sub: 15in D2 XXX in shitty 1.5cuft? sealed prefab
Sub AMP: JBL BP1200.1
My original plans were to sell the MClass components and put some 6x9s back there just for rear fill, I do know the MClass's are better than the KAR265s but the front doors are 6.5s and I don't feel like making a custom mounting plate, etc. and if your wondering why I bought expensive MClass components and using them for real fill, I got a REALLY good deal on them.
