need advice on speakers/tweeters

I am looking to buy some speakers, but need some edvice on which brands are best. I've heard JL and Boston Acoustics are very good but they are expensive. I know there are different models within each brand, but in general and Assuming i have adequate ampage what are some of the best sound quality or best brand/types of car audio speakers?
