need advice on a wall for 2 MA Audio 18's

hey guys, ill first start by saying hi. Im by no means new to car audio but i am new to subwoofer walls. i have ordered a pair of MA Audio MA183XE subwoofers and i am wanting to wall off a 95 civic ex coupe. the amp ill be running is a ssl cr4000.1 @1 ohm mono. the box i am designing is 12 cu-ft internal with 113 sq-in of port (slot) tuned to 38 hrz. would this be ideal for street bass not spl? i could care less about a meter i just want it to be loud to the ear. any input is appreciated.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I wouldn't see an issue with that, go for it.

That soundstorm amp probably only puts out 1000 watts, and those MA's only take around 600 watts each, so yeah you're probably just fine there.

for now the price. i have never heard a 18" subwoofer and no one around here has them. if i like the sound ill upgrade later. thanks for the help guys

so should i go with a 14 cuft internal box to make it more efficient or stick with the 12? thanks in advance
