need advice on 6x8 speakers, candidates listed

There are adapter plates available to convert from 6x8 5x7 to 6.5's or you can build one yourself out of 1/4 MDF by uses your stock speakers as a template and cutting out your 6.5 holes ...I did that in my 96 Mustang

- That with OZ vector components from woofersetc.com and a small amp would not go much over $150 ... it would make a world of difference.

But if you have to have the 6X8's, go with the Crystal SSX... they are a step up from the Revs.... 12db crossover on the tweeter, neo motor for more bass potential... these are the ones to buy.
