After lurking for some time reading the forums. I want to know if anyone here can suggest how I can go about getting dimensions for a sealed sub box. Im using a single JL Audio 10w6 to compliment my system

The dimensions that need to be fixed are as follows. The height of the box cannot be higher then 8 1/2" and the width at 14 1/2". The length can be any dimension. I was hoping to sub firing downward, but I'm open to any suggestions.

I havent done a complete overall audio system in many years hence the request here. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all.

Marc

Whats this going into? And whats the mounting depth of the sub?
It will be going into my work truck, a 2007 Ford Expedition.

I need to be able to remove the box, when needed. Mounting depth of the sub is 4.875".

Thanks.

Marc
