Need advice - complete system

So i'm anticipating around a $2k tax return. It could be more or less but let's use this as a budget for an entire system minus front staging. Here is a list that I have come up with so far. I listen to a lot of eletronic music, mostly drum and bass/jungle, as well as a lot of metal. For me SQ > SPL Please give me your opinions on what you would choose and why. Also, please don't turn this into a vs. thread. Unless somebody suggests Sony or something just let the last guys opinion be his opinion. All these options leave about $500 - $700 left over which I need to buy a box, an Optima, HO alternator, hood, and passenger fender with for my CRX.

If SQ > SPL in your mind then you're pretty foolish for thinking you can call a HU + sub + amp any sort of "system". You would be VERY dissapointed with your results. YOU WILL NEED A FRONTSTAGE!

Here's my take:

Pioneer DEH-P860MP ($330 shipped new ... about $250 shipped used)

Amp: MB Quart QAA4250 ($450 shipped ... does 4 x 250 @ 4 ohm ... class A/B ... plenty of dynamic headroom... overall, very SQ-oriented amp)

Component speakers: Alpine Type-X (~$200 shipped new), Phoenix Gold Ti Elite (~$250 shipped ... made by Morel), JL Audio XR ($ same)

You should NOT need rear-fill in a CRX!!!!

Sub(s): A couple Image Dynamics IDQ's, Soundstream EXACTs, Arc Audio Arc series (pair of 10"s should fit in your CRX nicely)

or... An OZ Audio Matrix Elite, or better yet, A single Image Dynamics IDMAX or even better yet, Arc Audio Flatline (refined IDMAX ... works will in .9 cu ft sealed enclosure)

Sub(s) should run you no more than $350

Box: Contact Marv or PM me for his number and ask for a quote. (You're probably going to want a sealed box for SQ and space reasons)

Without a box, it comes out to being about $1300, so we'll round up to about $1500 with just about everything else -- minus of course, your HO alt and battery.

That system, if properly installed/tuned, would pretty much kick the crap out've just about anything else you can imagine or anybody else recommends for the price.

Or...

Do you already have components? I assume this is why you say you don't need them. If you do need comps:

Dls UP6's- about $300 http://www.dlsamerica.com These will drop right into Honda doors and have fantastic midbass.

Amp Xtant 403a refurbished from xtant for $200 http://www.xtant.com/direct/details.cfm?PN=403AR This is an awesome full system amp (what I run) don't let the low wattage specs fool you- it has an input amplification stage and an output stage (like a built in line driver, except it is in the amp) and will run front comps and a dual 2ohm voice coil sub all day.

Sub: You could do the JL you have been eyeballing, or get a Dls Iridium for $400. The Iridium is a fantastic woofer, though this amp seems a bit underpowered for it (it could take 1000w rms all day) for sq, but for rap/dance mine really wangs, especially in a hatchback. What it isn't is a blinging sub- it has a plain black cone and a funky basketball grille (I like them) For rock or Jazz, the sub becomes transparent- it is one of the best SQ subs I have ever heard.

Deck: Pick whatever you like, I have an 860 and it's solid- but not my favorite, besides new models will be out soon (CES in a couple days) That's my $0.02
