NEED ADVICE, $500 budget, whatcha got for me?

I personally don't like how ARGS sound. I would go with either an SS RL-P single 12 or find a used JBL GTI 12". Also find a used DEI 1100D or a viper 1200.1 and you'll be GTG. Either of those subs in a ported box would wang.

i think im pretty set on 2 12s, the type Rs sound good, but this appears to be going out of my price range. I cant find a setup that will be less than $500...i may just got with my first setup with the Cadence amp and subs...

will someone tell me the validity of it?

these subs: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=270151957917&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=017

and this amp: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=250130800976&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=015

i dont know what ARGS are, i dont know what SS RL's are, and i dont want just 1 12" sub, that is the main reason i didnt really respond to your post. I am very glad you posted and had interest in helping me, but the real help i think is the question i just posted

EDIT: and i dont really want SQ, maybe SQL, so idk if JBL is what im looking for.

and how do you make it so you can plug the car in to run the amp/subs rather than have it running?

Dont forget about the prev question 3 posts up plz! i would really like it answered

lol Args are type R's. You're an 07 person, sorry you wouldn't understand.

As for the part I have in Bold, sorry I was just going by your post saying sub(s) which means 1 or more. /shrug.

And trust me, the JBL will get loud, just ask Thomas he ran a 2500D to his.

As for your post, no I would not buy Cadence.....I would much rather see you buy Args then that. The saying, "you get what you pay for." Def plays a role in this situation.

Box

Prefab for now, unless someone local wants to help you build a box with that extra $50.

Great budget system, and you should be pretty pleased with the performace.

95BlackGA i may go with that, and i think suma may be buildin my box

EDIT: i had PG subs b4, wanted to try somethin new =)

I have the lower model of the Hifonics subs from last years line up, and I'm extremely pleased with them. I have about 600WRMS going to the pair, and I couldn't be happier with what I paid for the setup. I bought mine for $100 shipped for the pair. If you really wanted to save some money, you could look into those. They're Hifonics HF12D4's, you can get them off of ebay for $100 for the pair. You could get an AutoTek SS750.1 (About $175 off of eBay), and get a decent box built. And have a little left over for speaker upgrades or headunit upgrades. I'm not one to be giving too much advice, but with my expirience with Hifonics (I've owned the HF series subs, and a BX2005D), they have been very reliable for 'tight' budget products.

I've never had experience with them, but I have had some with the SR (Lower Line) and I put more than double it's rated power to it, and it handled it like a champ. I would say these would do great too, but I can't, 'cause I have no experience with them.
