Need a amp to power 2 Magnum D2's

I was thinking about a 2400 watt RF Punch. Any other suggestions? That Rockford would cost me about $450. Also how are the 2400 watt Power Acoustic Amps?

whoa...if ur talkin bout the rockford punch 801s you can get it for about 380$ on the internet..that amp pumps out 2400 watts also..go to http://www.disountsjungle.com

WOAH...also that rockford amp will put out NO WHERE near 2400 watts. That is peak...and it won't happen...also i'd stay away from power acoustik also. Look into...something that gives real RMS wattage...which is a the continuous amount of power an amp puts out. Pay NO attention to peak or max wattage!

Check out anything 1200-2000 rms at 2 ohms...

you have a lot of choices there.

I believe the Magnum D2s are 600 watts RMS each... dual 2 ohm which makes 1 ohm wired in parallel (? correct me if i'm wrong)

Go with a Hifonics Brutus. Rock-solid amp and can be had for your price range.

One magnum can produce a 4 or 1 ohm load. 2 Magnums can produce a .5 or 2 ohm load.

PG Tantrum 1200 all the way if you're giong to run two D2s. Cost-effective and will get ridiculous loud.
