need a amp for alpine type -R 12

Guys I have everythign for the install, but the last amp I need and thats for the sub...

I have a 2005 alpine type-r dual 4ohm. I am thinkign the viper 1200.1 at 2 ohms would be 800 watts.

the one at IKesound is 189.. does that include the remote bass knob and subsonic filter??

Anyone got any suggestions?

But what happens later if I want to put a bigger sub in the boat?? then the kicker wont be enough..

TO bad I cant find a good used 1200 watt amp that runs half that in a 2 ohm load for now..

get a memphis if you can find one decent, try Ebay they ususally have alot to chose from. alot of 1000ds

some of them do 1100 @ 1 ohm and 600 x 2 ohms and 300 @ 4 ohms, then there are some that are 2 ohm stable , but for a TYPE R you can jus get a 500D if your worried about powering it enuff right @ 2 ohms
