hey, i have a friend deciding between an orion 1200d and a fosgate 1000bd to push 4 svc 4 ohm 300 rms 12's

which is a better choice?

that would give him an ohm load option of 4ohm or 1ohm. so that bein said, the orion is the better choice. the 1000bd is an awesome amp, but its rated @ 2ohm and it also can be ran @1ohm. gets a lil hot, but it can be done. but if it was my choice, i'd go for the orion.

me too lol. the orion will work well and i wouldn't even try running that rf at 1 ohm because i did and it went up in smoke imediately. 2 ohms and above it was great.

T30001bd easily......look up at the pictures of peoples birthsheets at the top, its a stickie in the amp section.....puts out just below 4000 rms at 1 ohm iirc

up, gotta say orion again. like 80 said. price of 1 T3 u can get 2 orions. but head up, i would still grab an orion.
