Need a 15 and an amp - 330 budget

I have this box Amazon.com: R/T 300 318-15 Enclosure Series - Single 15-Inch Slot Vented Sub Bass Hatchback Speaker Box with Labyrinth Power Port: Car Electronics (i know custom is better, but its best I can do)

I need an amp and a sub. Total budget around 330. 360 is the highest id go but less is better. If you need any more info let me know

If that's the enclosure you have, I'd try to at least find a sub with the proper hz needs and cuft needs for the design. DC subs usually do good in small enclosures. Especially a 15".

The most difficult thing about the prefab ported box is how hard it is to get that is properly tuned though. Op, I hope you know what the tuning for that box is. Hopefully you can find a sub that will work out for you.

sell the box and BUILD a box to FIT the sub, not the other way around

Its what i have to work with. I dont have the kind of money to be doing that. I know it isnt ideal but i also know it will work with that box. I just want to know what sub/amp will sound good with this setup

Thinking about going with a Hifonics BRZ15D4 and a CT Sounds 500.1. Would equate to me paying nothing as this is only a temporary system for me, as im selling it to my friend

in all honesty its cheaper to build a box and carpet it... a sheet of MDF / plywood $30....screws 4$.... time = 1-4 hours... that feeling of accomplishment = priceless.

amp would be fine on ba and all it requires in 8awg but the at400.1 on the soundqubed sub will be the loudest easily //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
