OK guys.. I'm curious to know if my factory nav voice propmts and blue tooth will still work once I added the following to my factory headunit. I will be changing out my factory speakers w/exception to the three that are in the dash which be disabled once everything is hooked up.

2006 Dodge Ram

MYGIG Navigation Headunit

MTX REQ-5 OEM Interface

JL Audio 1000.1 Sub Amp for 2 JL Audio 10w6V2

Sundown 100.4 Four Channel Amp for ARC Audio Front and Rear Components

Tsnuami 5 Farad Capacitor

if you are adding the Re-q to the setup you will have no problems.

If you are taking out the factory unit(s) then you will lose some things.

I say use the Re-q or a Rockford 3sixty and keep the factory nav and bluetooh

Thanks for the response. What I'm concerned is will the voice prompts work with the components speakers. I think it should. I'm keeping the factory nav head unit.

i can almost gaurantee there will be no problems with changing out the speakers and the amp as long as you dont take out the factory radio. If you go with the Re-q you will be golden

The mic is the important part. The headunit will process the sound to the speakers

Yeah I here all of you. My install is on hold because the couple of shops I've been to are saying the those functions won't work. So I'm going to hold off untill I find someone who knows what thier doing.
