this slightly terrifies me.

 
i dont know if i mentioned it before or not but so far its been ok and hasn't been a problem but im going to be putting a heat resistant mat of some sort in that area and there is also another patch that is going to go near the rear of the car.

also the pix shown the wires were not completely strapped down yet the wires are closer to the body of the car now.

and as i stated before they are being fused on both ends of the wire...

still alot of work to be done and issues to be delt with

like i said the pictures are kinda deceiving because i believe that the gap there is like 3-4 inches but yes that is where i need to add the heat resistant mat.. i drove 30 min to work and reached under and felt the wires and they where just warm

but incase they move around i want to put that heat shield for um there
