line that hole you drilled with some rubber to keep it from shorting your wire out in the future
yeah i still have to put that around the hole and also im going to put something down there to keep the water and such outta the trunk

i love cs. but not that much
lol i dunno im a geek...

it strikes me as an odd path for the wires...

Well the orignial plan was NOT to do a wall but i changed my mind and all my batts where going to be laid out like so..

but since im doing a wall now i have to switch up the trunk now..

And also i was going to do 3 runs of + 3 runs of - but i didnt have enough wire and meh i dunno i just figured 4 runs would be sufficient

*and sorry for all the bumps but i had to get the thread updated*

thats all the work i have done right now

Uhhh....

I wouldn't feel safe with my power cables ran like that...
i know its not the safest idea and im trying to think of a way to at least put a cover over the wires.. maybe something like a spray on truck bed lining or something just to give it a little more protection

SHould have just used plastic conduit to run the wires in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yeah... i could still prolly yank it out but its such a pain in the ass to get my car up on jacks and im too lazy lol

they will be fused at both ends to insure more safety

well the gas tank is underneath so i would have nothing to drill into and thats alot of liquid nails
gas tanks in the same place there, what it is screwed into is another layer of 2x4s underneath that is liquid naild/ca glued down. I was just suggesting you fill in your holes so that you have a solid surface go attach the box to, its like adding 5-6" of wood to the bottom of your box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

might want to protect that wire under the car with somthing run it with some PVC or somthing and throw a gromet on that hole in the trunk so u dont get any wire getting cut on that metal... just some saftey precautions

well i have a solid surface to attach to i guess it isnt the MOST stable thing in the world but it will work...

Well when it comes to a 500lb+ structure behind my head that could crush me if I slammed on the breaks id rather be safe than sorry..... but hey thats just me
hahaha

i believe that there is plenty of support back there for the box...

148lbs in subs

lets say 70 lbs in box material

so only 218 lbs that could crush me..
