Narrowed down my choices.....

I haven't heard either but I have heard lots of good things about the ID's and am actually considering those for my next setup as well

this is what i like about these lil help me choose. ppl always choose the low line ID CTX series and compare it to a higher line brand. I LOVE the fact that id's entry level line competes with alpine's upper end. i won't say top end cus the pro's are the top end but still i love it. go with the ID's you won't be sorry and if you go by retail priceing since the ref retail for 400 compare those with the ID CXS65v2 line //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The ID CTX comps do not disappoint in any category. Smooth and detailed tweeters with no harshness at pretty much any volume. Power handling is 100 watts rms but can take i would say double that. Midbass with properly deaden treated doors is strong and the midrange have very natural sound. At the price they are going for i honestly do not think they can be beat.
