BTW if they threaten Japan than the only thing that will happen is more threats and idle rhetoric from the UN. Even if NK does nuke somebody, I still doubt any other country would break thiers out, unless it was Israel (who is widely believed to have nukes but is not confirmed) Nukes going off in the open atmosphere cause global problems. I hardly think the US wants a nice fat cloud of radioactive fallout to cruise over Japan and then continue on to the west coast. I think large scale carpet bombing would be the retribution, and it wouldn't be just us doing it, we would probably make China do it since NK is thier goddam toy. All of that is my opinion based on no facts whatsoever, just my impression on what would happen.

I agree the US would not want to have an open nuclear bombfest. Who would, besides fundamentalist (I know sp) muslims. I had just happen to come across the treaty I was watching the Glenn Beck show the other day. Very good show, I'd suggest ppl watch it some time, oh and warning Glenn Beck is very much so to the Right, hense why I think he's one fo the best talk-radio/news shows guys out there.

Lets make a clear point. Nearly everyone in the world community will agree that the real threat is not N Korea launching a nuclear weapon aganst another nation. This simply will not happen, as the reponse to such an act would almost certainly mean the total destrucvtion of N Korea. So lets put that bullshit to rest. N Korea would never fire a nuclear weapon pre-empt. The real danger is that N Korea may simply supply these weapons to another country or terrorist organization, who in turn may use the weapon.
