I went to da car audio shop yesterday and heres what da salezperson told me aobut ported boxes when i askeeed him...

me: "Is it tru dat ported boxes are louder den sealed boxes with same power?"

him: "yes ported boxes are louder then sealed because they have a vent to bring out more output and sound better"

me: "So den a sub in a ported box will it bottom out sometimes den?"

him: "That really depends on the power and size of the box and if the sub is playin below it's tuning frequency"

me: "Do ported boxes have some sound quallity dto dem den?"

him: "They can if the speaker is designed ONLY for that type of box if not they will sound like garbage compared to sealed"

me: "alright thanks for dat info on ported boxes mang"

him: "no problem man, stop by again anytime"

Is what he told me iz dat true or is it bullsh1t den?
