in terms of 30-45 hz when tuning boxes the lower the box is tuned the further the bass will travel?
Did you really mean to ask:in terms of 30-45 hz when tuning boxes the lower the box is tuned the further the bass will travel?
great explination thank you now it makes a lot of senselower the bass (lower frequency), the longer wavelength, therefore the further and more 'spreadout' the sound will be yes....
,no you don't
listen at car shows your system has to be loud and travel very far......
Thats quite off topic. The speed at which sound moves through air does not relate to how long it will continue to carry. It doesn't matter if its summer or winter, sub frequencies will carry much farther than higher frequencies.Sorry, but wave propagation is incorrect. Here's a somewhat related definition:
"Sound propagates through air as a longitudinal wave. The speed of sound is determined by the properties of the air, and not by the frequency or amplitude of the sound. Sound waves, as well as most other types of waves, can be described in terms of the following basic wave phenomena."
In other words, how long it takes to fully develope the waveform for a particular note/freq does not affect how it travels through the air.
