Octos are something new to me.....it has a slight flare done on the inside with a 3/4" roundover....honestly it probably isn't going to make a big difference unless you get down to chasing 1/10ths but I may be wrong......give me time I will perfect them...lol.....oh and this is the 4th Octo I have ever built in my entire life.....lmao

I don't think they are any better than aeros but with an octo you can customize the diameter to achieve a certain port area......

No what I meant was if I wanted to gain a little more port area when designing the box..... say for instance if we were going to use a 4" aero.......I could build a 4 1/2" octo and bump up the port area....aeros only come in standard sizes like 3", 4", 6", & 8".....I can build an octo in between and above any of those sizes.....

Yes the one above is an in between size.......these allow way more port area adjustment when initially designing...and you can do external ones and make multiple ports to interchange them between daily and spl....
