My US Amps/RE Audio Kia Spec 5

So are you still using the 15? Want to sell the SE10? I'm thinking about going with one instead of the OZ Audio in my sig, because they are about half the price new, still decent SQ and to keep it US Amps. What size/tune is the ported enclosure you "slapped together" for the 10 (looks pretty **** nice IMO with that nice black carpet and blue suede lol).

Is that a SX or SE btw? I thought the SE's had the RE logo no them, instead of just "RE"...

Im doing the Se10 I want more space & I want another cool amp rack So I will do some sick stuff in the tire well.. Not for sale try your local dealerIf you dont have one PM me..

1.25^@40ish.. it was port was not wide enuff..

Se's They all say RE on the front now & the Modle on the bottom

Are you going to frame out the section between the port end plate and the upper section of the box or are you going to free form it after you glass the back half?

I will do the rib cage tipe frame on it..

Used some spray glue to hold all the fiberglass in place

Ok Got afew more layers down.

just a lil more togo..

 

4 layers down I will add more when I get my next chance to work on it..

 

A lil bit of compressed air & a pull the fiberglass popped right out..

 

I cut the hole for the port but No pix yet..

I will start the "Rib Cage" frame after I get the next few layers down..

this is a much nicer looking install than most of the clowns on here post (excluding myself since i like the ugly/loud look).

i noticed in the equipment list there being 1/0awg, a distro, then 4awg....id ditch the 4awg and run the 1/0 straight back to the amp. if you dont feel like properly trimiming the wire down, then keep that distro block with 4awg as close as possibly to the power input on the amp. no more than 6inches away from the amp do the same for the grounds. if the length of the 4awg is any long then you might as well have just done 4awg all around...

yeah I ran 4awg to the back..

i got a spool of 0/1awg.. just dont have much time to work on my own car...

I wouldn't listen too much to the noob being he burnt his car down more than likely due to his awesome wiring jobs, which you would laugh if you ever seen the pics on how he did it, lol!

You can go from 1/0 to 4ga in a distro block, if the 4ga run is short enough. People do it all the time.
