im sure those two have been compared in pics plenty of times before. but i felt i had to do so myself. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

just one quick question though..

IMG_0196.jpg

how teh fack do i get this crap off? i dont know how it got there. its not scratches or anything just some gunk that i noticed when i pulled it out the box. anyone have this happen to them before? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

tc1k 8 dvc and an assassin 8.

i havnt tried anything yet cause im cleaning up trying to put together another setup for my next car. so theyre sitting in their box in the closet.

ive heard of googone but never seen it. ill check the depot when im around that way. i also got some smudges on on my fosgate amp you see the manual for. would it work for that too?

shit scared me cause i enevr seen that before on any of my subs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

man i can't wait till the new assassin 8's come out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

i'll have to snatch a pair...maybe two pairs if they have some sort of pre-sale //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

me too. ill probably end up getting rid of this one and grab one of those.

i was thinking... could that shit on the sub be from silicone/glue fumes? i mean i let the silicone sit at least 2 days before i got around to installing it. but its been hot as **** latley down here and when i took the sub out the box today it felt like a mini oven in there. im sure itll come off and the sub plays fine. i just never seen it.

The gunk on the bottom seems like oxidation. Get some metal polish and it will come right off and will make the backplate look better than new. My SI MAG claws are polished //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
